Here Comes Spring February 26, 2020 09:43

Our daffodils are beginning to bloom. Another growing season begins. Spring is right around the corner here in middle Tennessee. We've had an enormous amount of rain this winter. I am unable to do much in the gardens because they are too waterlogged. I will be starting seeds this week and dreaming of the vegetables, flowers and herbs that will once again grace our landscape.
I'll be returning to my vintage roots this Spring and will be listing a lot of new vintage-laced jewelry in the shop. I have so many beautiful vintage glass and enameled beads and pendants that I've collected over the years. They are calling to me and I am listening. Look for them in my 'Vintage Laced Jewelry' section.
Here's to a new season. Fresh and green and full of wonder.

14 Days of Hearts February 1, 2020 10:44

Hello February!
A couple of years ago some friends on Instagram got together and posted 14 heart photos running from February 1st through the 14th. I decided to do it again this year. Feel free to join in and pass the word around. We sure could use some extra love these days. #14daysofhearts

Love is in the Air January 27, 2020 09:55

I've been working away in the studio enjoying the quiet solitude of Winter. I go from making and shipping Holiday orders to preparing for Valentine's Day.
I have an eclectic assortment of heart jewelry in the shop. Most of my hearts are vintage beads and lockets. I'm always on the lookout for something different. If you're looking for a piece of jewelry that is either a OOAK (one of a kind) or a limited edition stop by the shop and see what's in stock.

Happy New Year! January 2, 2020 10:48

My Spring bulbs are ready to welcome in the new year. Here's to 2020! May it bring health, happiness and peace.

Holiday Shipping Deadline December 13, 2019 08:28

The holiday shipping deadline has been extended to the 16th. Orders placed before this date SHOULD arrive on time for gift giving. I say should because we all know how busy the post office gets this time of year and nothing is guaranteed. Please keep this in mind when placing an order.

Holiday 2019 Sale November 29, 2019 00:00

Why fight the crowds this weekend when you can shop from the comfort of your own home? That's what I'll be doing. The only fighting that I'll see are the cats rocking around the Christmas tree.
I am having a sale in the shop. 20% off everything from November 29th until December 2nd. The sale price will show in your cart.
Happy Holidays!

An Invitation To Visit My Etsy Shop November 13, 2019 07:52

I've been an Etsy seller since 2006. This past summer, I opened my Shopify store. I love the freedom of having my own site, but I still enjoy running my Etsy shop.
I know that some folks are more comfortable shopping on certain websites. With that in mind I decided to put a link to my Etsy shop in my footer on the home page. Click on that link and you'll end up in my Etsy store.
I don't always list my jewelry in both shops. The earrings in these collages are listed exclusively on Etsy. You can find them in the 'Winter & Holiday' section of my shop.
As we swiftly slide into the holiday season I'd like to take a moment to thank y'all for supporting my work whether it's here or on Etsy.

Free Holiday Gift Wrapping November 5, 2019 05:50

Free gift wrapping is available with all orders this holiday season. Let me know which paper you'd like me to wrap your present in when you check out.
Thank you SO much for your continued support! It means the world to me.
Happy Holidays~

I love their raw natural beauty.

Spider Web Season September 15, 2019 06:08

Summer's ending and spider web season is beginning. I love seeing all of the different kinds of webs. The ones in this photo remind me of flying saucers. They float on the branches of our pine trees.
One of my favorite vintage beads are spider web beads. They are glass beads, referred to as Cherry Brand beads, and were made by hand in Japan between 1945-1952. I have a large collection of them and enjoy using them in my designs. I love their organic look.
